[00:00:03] Speaker A: Welcome to Star Being. I'm Tara, your guide. Blending the wisdom of the stars, philosophy and soul centered conversation. Here we question, remember and reconnect with the stars, with self, with true being. I hope these conversations ignite within you resonance, awakening and a deeper knowing. Together we open to more truth, more magic, more you.
[00:00:26] Speaker A: Welcome back to Starbing. It is so great to have you here.
I recently just received my stats back from Spotify wrapped and I was blown away because Spotify is not the platform that starbing is mostly listened from. But yeah, just because if you have your own podcast, you will know that podcasts are a different realm in terms of discoverability.
It is reliant on a lot, a lot to do with shares or word of mouth. And it is more of a long game to get traction and exposure and reach.
And so I just want to take this moment to thank you for listening. Thank you for sharing. Thank you, yeah, just for loving starbing, because it really is my heart's work.
And so with that, I want to share a personal.
[00:01:39] Speaker A: Perspective of what I've really been navigating. And so this episode is actually brought to you by a dream that I had, because if you've been following me for a little while, you'll know that I've been increasingly more interested in the dream space and, and how that is really influencing us, but also the symbolism and the messages and it's really that subconscious communicating with us.
And so I had this dream where I was clearly shown that.
[00:02:22] Speaker A: Women.
[00:02:24] Speaker A: Rule this realm.
And I just want to set.
[00:02:31] Speaker A: A caveat here before this episode because I feel like you need to do that now.
[00:02:37] Speaker A: I am in no way, whatever I say in this episode, am I disempowering men or am I saying that they're inferior? That is not what I'm saying.
What I'm saying is that this reality, women are powerful beyond measure. That is what I was shown.
And the dream was so.
[00:03:08] Speaker A: Intense.
[00:03:10] Speaker A: That I, I woke up going like, of course. Like, how had I forgotten this?
Like, how has everyone forgotten this?
And then I started going down this rabbit hole of thinking about all the different industries and all the different rules. And then I started thinking about, you know, my life and, and the suppression as a woman. How I felt that so deep, deeply within religion, deeply within my corporate career.
And, yeah, it just blew me away. And so I wanted to speak about it.
[00:03:56] Speaker A: And so, first of all, this seems really.
[00:04:03] Speaker A: You know, elementary. But women birth souls into form.
[00:04:10] Speaker A: Women hold the only portal between dimensions.
Women carry this intuitive bandwidth that science is only now beginning to understand women are proven to pick up emotional, energetic and micro nonverbal signals at a rate nearly 10 times higher than men.
[00:04:37] Speaker A: Of course that level of perception was feared. Of course that level of creation was threatened. Of course systems were built to keep that awareness dormant. And once you see it, you can't unsee it.
I was thinking about the beauty industry, the wellness industry, the fashion industry, even the spiritual industry.
All of them have been constructed to keep women looping in self doubt in comparison, in this perpetual not enoughness to keep busy fixing ourselves instead of remembering who we are, and to keep us looking outward instead of inward, and to make us.
[00:05:27] Speaker A: Consumers rather than creators.
And I was just thinking, you know, when a woman is disconnected from her intuition because we're in this masculine construct where intuition isn't seen as valuable, we can be sold anything.
But when we remember who we are and we remember our power.
[00:05:53] Speaker A: We can't be controlled. And that is, as you can understand, like, all these ways.
[00:06:02] Speaker A: That.
[00:06:05] Speaker A: It has been.
[00:06:08] Speaker A: Created for suppression on every level. And like I said, once you see it, you can't unsee it.
And so that's what this conversation, and truly this whole era is about. It's reclaiming the intelligence that has always lived in our bones. And I'm just starting to peel back the conditioning that.
[00:06:38] Speaker A: Yeah, has kept us small, distracted, exhausted, and yeah, remembering that. And so I want this episode to be an invitation into that remembering. And I really feel like this is a huge part of my Dharma. I feel like. Like I have experienced a suppression in all these areas of my life so that I can shine a light on this and help other women remember and come together. Because I was talking to one of my best friends last night on the phone, and.
[00:07:18] Speaker A: I just said to her, there's just something so powerful when women come together.
[00:07:26] Speaker A: That we just need to be doing more of that.
And so this is what I wanted to. To bring to you. So I wanted to start with this concept of the great forgetting.
And we've been told for thousands of years, not through textbooks, not through versions of history we were handed.
But it's come through the silencing of women.
You know, there is pages where women's names should have been and temples where their names have been etched off, libraries that were burnt, and, you know, these lineages that, that were never written down because the carriers of those teachings were women.
And women were erased.
And.
[00:08:31] Speaker A: Your power as a woman is not something that you are learning. And this is what I know I speak about a lot, but it's something you Are remembering.
We need to remember this because we contain it all.
It's just accessing it.
And so when I speak about.
[00:08:58] Speaker A: The feminine, as I've said, it's not you.
[00:09:04] Speaker A: Saying that men are inferior in any way, but when I'm talking about the feminine here.
[00:09:12] Speaker A: I'm talking about Shakti, so that primordial creative intelligence of the universe, which is that animating force behind life itself.
For thousands of years, societies knew this. Women were the astrologers, they were the herbalists, the midwives, the seers, their spiritual leaders.
Women held the mysteries of the stars, the earth, the boys body, and the unseen. And then there was the inversion. And when I say inversion, I am saying in this realm, things are distorted, things are flipped. Things are.
Yeah. Not how they appear to be.
And.
[00:10:02] Speaker A: So when women were spiritual authorities and why this was a threat.
If we look back far enough, before major religions consolidated power, women were the cosmic interpreters.
And in Vedic culture, the feminine was not just respected, it was revered.
Like in.
In all these ancient texts. In Vedic cosmology, the feminine was never secondary.
The feminine is the field from which the consciousness emerges.
And in Jyotish, so Vedic astrology.
[00:10:47] Speaker A: That was part of this sacred understanding. It was the science of soul, the map of karma and dharma and evolution. And women, with their intuition, with their cyclical intelligence and their ability to perceive subtle energy, were often the most gifted practitioners.
And so what happened? Why did women's spiritual authority diminish?
[00:11:18] Speaker A: Because systems of power understood something. You cannot control a populations whose women are spiritually activated. You can't manipulate a society where women know their dharma. You cannot contain a culture where women trust their intuition. You cannot dominate.
[00:11:40] Speaker A: People whose feminine energy is awake.
And so you can see why this silencing began and women's power was.
[00:11:52] Speaker A: Systemically erased.
And if you've been in my world for a while, you know, before this podcast, I had a podcast with one of my spiritual best friends, Emily, called witches being witches.
And we, we would talk often, obviously that was the whole theme of the podcast, but we would talk about.
[00:12:19] Speaker A: Reclaiming the power of the feminine, which is why you can see, like this theme is so dear to my heart.
But we dove into the witch trials.
And so between the 1400s to the 1700s, hundreds of thousands of women were tortured and killed. Why?
Because they worked with astrology, herbs, dreams, energy, intuition.
Because they held this knowledge outside of the church, because they had power that couldn't be controlled.
And these were women that understood.
[00:13:02] Speaker A: Their. Their cycles, the lunar rhythms, plant medicine, seasons, divination, spiritual Connection. And so they were labeled dangerous.
And it's interesting because the question is, dangerous to who?
[00:13:20] Speaker A: Not to society, but to systems that demanded obedience.
And again, if you've been here for a while, you'll know that I was born into a very.
[00:13:36] Speaker A: Strict religion. And I saw an experience with my own eyes, the suppression, the inversion of truths of the church of religion.
And.
[00:13:52] Speaker A: This is. This has been my experience.
[00:13:56] Speaker A: And what I see when we look at the church and astrology, I find this really fascinating because.
[00:14:06] Speaker A: When I started.
[00:14:09] Speaker A: Being drawn to astrology, I still had, because I was in this religion until I was 15 and then we managed to get out of it after that.
I still was unraveling all these imprints because you think about it, when you're told it's kind of, to me, it's brainwashing.
You're told what to believe, how to think.
And so I was fearful.
Even though I was completely out of the religion for so many years, it was still imprinted on me that astrology was dark and that it was.
[00:14:57] Speaker A: Yeah, like something to be demonized.
And.
[00:15:05] Speaker A: I really had to.
[00:15:08] Speaker A: Dig into that.
And what I discovered, and I've discussed this before, is that in the Vedic texts, so these are the most ancient texts in existence.
[00:15:24] Speaker A: It has the different limbs, which is Ayurveda, the science of life. It has Jyotish, which is the science of light. It has yoga and it has vatsu.
And all of these create an integrated system for us to, yeah, really help us as tools in this, in this, in this realm.
But what I find fascinating is, like, everything that has been inverted that with astrology, because it was so powerful, the church got involved and they felt that astrology was taking power away from the church.
And so what did they do? They inverted it.
They deviated Vedic astrology. They created Western astrology, which no longer followed the fixed stars.
That was, you know, over thousands of years, no longer going to be accurate.
The actual foresight and patience that you would actually have to have.
[00:16:44] Speaker A: To.
[00:16:46] Speaker A: Ridicule and get rid of such a powerful modality actually still blows my mind.
[00:16:55] Speaker A: But when we look at the early centuries, astrology was widely practiced. It isn't tainted like it is today. And so it was practiced by, you know, including saints, scholars, emperors.
But as the church rose, astrology really challenged its monopoly on truth.
And it was threatening because it empowered the individual to understand their own karma.
It allowed people to bypass priestly intermediates. It revealed spiritual truths that were outside of institutional control. And it also, it recognized the feminine, cosmic forces.
And so astrology Became labeled forbidden, dangerous, pagan, satanic.
Not because it was inaccurate, but because it made people spiritually sovereign. Can you see.
[00:17:59] Speaker A: How?
[00:18:02] Speaker A: Yeah, like why I'm so passionate about this?
And what I've seen, what's happened with astrology, I have actually seen. The same thing has happened to women.
Anything powerful was banished, anything intuitive was ridiculed. Anything feminine was controlled.
The feminine, like astrology, holds too much truth, too much knowing.
[00:18:28] Speaker A: And then when I was going into looking at the, the witch trials and, and the history of women because in the ancient history women like I said, were revered and they, they had all the rights.
And when you start looking at, at the witch trials and why that happened and how it was actually a, a land grabbing opportunity for.
[00:19:05] Speaker A: If star being has ignited something inside you, a spark, are remembering a shift. I would love your support in helping this work ripple out further.
Here's how you can help. Leave a rating and review on the podcast app that you use and screenshot it and send it to me through Instagram, direct message or email. And every two months I, I will draw a winner to receive a one on one soul reading session with me which is valued at $550. This is a 90 minute session and we go deep into your Vedic chart.
Your words are powerful. They help this space reach more souls and you might just receive something beautiful in return.
[00:19:58] Speaker A: Yeah. To strip women of their, their money and their property and their power.
You can see that women have lost property, they've lost rights and lost identity.
Across cultures, there were laws created to ensure women had no independence. Like, is this wild? This is so wild.
Women couldn't own property, they couldn't have bank accounts, they couldn't sign contracts.
Women's inheritance was given to fathers or husbands. Women's spiritual texts were not preserved, women's names were removed from scriptures.
[00:20:42] Speaker A: Can you see the power?
[00:20:46] Speaker A: And it's not accidental. This was systemic.
[00:20:53] Speaker A: And again, you disempower women, you disempower the entire future. And you can see now women completely doubting their power, completely doubting their worth.
[00:21:10] Speaker A: And so if we look at the Vedic view on feminine power.
[00:21:18] Speaker A: According to the Vedas, the shakti, which is the divine feminine, is the supreme creative force.
Nothing exists without Shakti, not the stars or the planets or breath or even consciousness itself.
And there is no Shiva without Shakti. There is no creation without the Devi.
And so.
[00:21:44] Speaker A: Even.
Yeah, and in the Vedic text, I want to read you some quotes from the Vedas.
[00:21:56] Speaker A: Where women are honored, the gods rejoice, and.
[00:22:05] Speaker A: The feminine is the origin of all that is.
[00:22:12] Speaker A: And my favorite.
[00:22:16] Speaker A: Study of the stars is the study of the Divine Mother's will.
[00:22:24] Speaker A: And so when I think about Jyotish, Vedic astrology, I see this as a goddess science. It's the sight of the soul. It's the, the Shakti's map.
And.
[00:22:39] Speaker A: That is why it is suppressed. Because anything that awakens true power is always the first thing to be removed in society. And we've seen it, and we've seen that recently.
[00:22:52] Speaker A: And so drawing this parallel between Vedic astrology and women, it's, you know, both are ancient, powerful, suppress, misrepresented, nearly erased, but both are now returning.
And.
[00:23:15] Speaker A: Yeah, it just, it's the time. It's time. And so women that were told they were irrational and yet their intuition is their higher intelligence more than logic.
And astrology was told to be unscientific. Yet it, it's the only, it's the only thing that I can actually predict events, cycles and human behavior. For thousands of years, women were told spiritual leadership was not for them. Yet in the Vedic tradition, it began with female sages.
And it's. I found it very fascinating that some of the, for me, the most revered philosophers, I have only recently found this out in the last six months. So how's this? I've been studying philosophy since I was at university. I studied it and as well as, yes, my marketing degree. But.
[00:24:19] Speaker A: In that, in my whole entire academic study of philosophy, I did not know that my favorite philosophers were actually taught by women.
[00:24:34] Speaker A: Is that wild? That. That is wild to me. Not one mention of that.
[00:24:41] Speaker A: And so this is where you can, you can see that.
[00:24:47] Speaker A: And coming back to astrology, astrology was called dangerous because it liberates the mind.
And this is why women were silenced. Astrology was silenced.
And like I said, both are rising again.
And we're seeing this. Well, I'm seeing it, so I hope you're seeing it, this global remembrance. And I feel that.
[00:25:13] Speaker A: Now that this information is coming to light. Like I said, you know, even finding these things out, women are awakening spiritually, intuitively. You know, we're following our cycles now, and it gives me so much joy. I did that episode with Jane Hardwick Collins and that you have all loved.
But I'm finding that, you know, women are now talking about their, their cycles. They're talking about following the, the moon and the lunar cycle and syncing the moon with their cycles. And it's just, this is what's returning and this is what we're reclaiming.
And women are remembering that the, the truth lives in the body.
And I feel like, you know, we're on this.
Yeah, this divine timing now, and this. This remembrance, like, women are awakening now.
And in Vedic astrology, we're at the end of Pisces.
And so Western astrology will say that we're in the Aquarian age, but that is actually not accurate. So coming from that Vedic lens, we're in the end of Pisces, Pisces being the 12th house, the final house.
And you can see. Well, I can see from the astrology how there are transits that are activating this spiritual awakening, this ancestral clearing, these feminine power structures, this collective consciousness, this breakdown of old hierarchies.
And so there is a reason why so many women are now remembering their gifts. They're studying astrology. They're returning to ritual. They're doing meditation. They're embodying the energy work. And this is the soul remembering what history has tried to erase.
And it's interesting because when I was in my 20s, it was. There was this movement about, you know, the girl boss era. And I really fell for that hard.
And it was about empowering women. And now how I see it in my lens now with my age of, like, having wisdom, I see this as not.
Women don't need empowerment.
We need unconditioning.
And that comes through the remembrance because the feminine is powerful by design.
[00:27:47] Speaker A: And so I feel this is a pivotal time, and this is why I'm speaking to you about this. I feel it is that important that the future.
[00:27:59] Speaker A: Really belongs to the remembered woman.
And.
[00:28:04] Speaker A: This is where she becomes sovereign, trusting her intuition, honoring her cycle, speaking the truth when her voice shakes, being in that integrity, leading from her Dharma and seeing through the illusions that society fed to her. And that, I feel, has been.
[00:28:27] Speaker A: All of my life, I have to say, and only started to see the full extent of the inversion now.
And.
[00:28:41] Speaker A: Yeah, I feel that this is what the world needs.
And so women are rising, astrology is rising, which obviously I'm really happy about.
Ancient wisdom is resurfacing, Intuition is strengthening.
And I really feel like the soul is awakening.
And so I feel that this suppression that women have really felt is over. And if you're listening to this work, then that is part of the return. And again, what I will say is, it's not you are learning who you are. It's remembering. And. And, you know, women, a woman of the stars, a woman of the Vedas, a woman of intuition, of power, of depth.
And.
[00:29:32] Speaker A: Yeah, that's what I was saying.
And so with that, this is why I'M so passionate about women connecting back to the moon.
And it's really interesting because a lot of people will send me these articles on about how the moon is like darkness and how it is demonic. And.
[00:29:59] Speaker A: I just think that is really interesting as well, because in Vedic astrology it's actually a lunar based system. And so what does that mean? It means that the whole chart is really based from the moon and it's not from the sun sign, which is what Western astrology says it is. And if you look at that, the moon being the feminine, intuitive mind, memory, essence, and the sun being like that solar force, that masculine force, that linear, and you can see again how that suppression has happened. And so when people say to me, oh, the moon, I'm like, yeah, the moon. Because if you have been conscious in tracking your feminine cycle, you will notice that you will typically bleed on the new, depending where you are on the new moon or the full moon. Like that is not random. You, your body is on a cycle that follows the moon. The lunar cycle is 27 days. It matches up to the feminine's hormone cycle.
Like we are so tapped in to the moon.
And this is something that I'd wish I had the knowledge of when I was younger. I wish this so much. And you know what, with that wish and with that passion, that is what I'm teaching others and that is why I'm doing this. So this is why I have my monthly membership called she is Cosmic. I have been running this membership for the past five years.
I have never had a break from it. I love it. The women that I have in this container inspire me greatly. It is my greatest joy to go guide them and to journey with them and allow them to get in touch with the sacredness of the transiting of the moon through each house, which is a different part of their life. And saying, you know, this is where the moon is transiting for you.
This is where to put your energy, this is where to release, this is where to focus on.
This is what you need to pay attention to and then how powerful that is.
And so I really invite you, if this has stirred something inside of you. I the first thing I will say to a woman that's wanting to connect to her intuition is to get in touch with the moon cycles, to understand what the energy is, to start to feel it. And again, like, I think there's some inversion happening with Western astrology because there's confusion there. People are like, oh, like.
[00:33:11] Speaker A: Western astrology is saying it's in Capricorn, but Vedic is saying it's Sagittarius and then them not knowing the flavor of the moon. And so, again, like that confusion. But what I want to say is just starting with the new moon and the full moon and seeing your emotions, seeing what comes up for you.
And this is what it is, right? I'm guiding you to pay attention and pay attention to your intuition and pay attention to that wisdom and connecting you back to it every two weeks.
So I really believe a woman that has that lunar power knows that lunar intelligence cannot be controlled.
[00:34:02] Speaker A: And so I want to invite you to join Sheer's Cosmic. I only open this once or twice a year. This is the second time I'm opening it. I don't know when I'll be opening it next. I only open a few spaces because I look at your individual chart every two weeks because we have a new moon and then a full moon, and I let you know what area of your life this is impacting, the flavor of it, how to work with it.
And so because of that personal, individual nature of it, I only have so much time in a day. So I've got a few places opened. And like I said, I only open this once or twice. And so if you feel called, if you feel you want to go deeper, this membership is monthly.
You sign up for the membership, and after three months, you are able to cancel anytime. There's no.
[00:35:08] Speaker A: Yeah, there's no issue with that. If you're like, yep, I've got everything I need out of this, I will say that having this membership for five years, I have members that have been in for years and years. And so it is one of those things where once you understand the power of it and how it can help guide in your life, it becomes like a. Yeah, really, really powerful. And so, yeah, that is my invitation to you. If you have any questions, please reach out to me.
And so I hope this episode just really exposed. I know it was a little bit fiery, but I think it's like my.
My Scorpio energy coming out.
But I just really want to, like, lift the veil, put the illumination, the spotlight on.
[00:36:03] Speaker A: Yeah, you. You remembering your power.
So that is it for me. I'm sending you lots of love and I'll speak to you soon.
[00:36:15] Speaker A: Thanks for tuning in to Star Being. May the wisdom shared resonate in your soul.
Until next time, stay connected and keep reaching for the stars. This is starbeing signing off.
