I wasn't actually going to do a follow up episode on eclipses, but I feel as though the this pair of eclipses so we're in between eclipses. As I'm recording, this has been particularly chaotic. I was trying to find the right words particularly chaotic in what I'm seeing happen around me.
And with eclipses we've got got to remember that it is the universe realigning us back to our dharmic path and that isn't always smooth and graceful.
And what I have noticed in my life and my clients lives and the people that are closest to me is that it's been equally high and equally low. And in between this eclipse period we want to be reflective, see what is coming up for us, try not to be reactive. We want to respond because this is where emotions can intensify.
So when it comes to a solar eclipse from a Vedic perspective, this is not seen as a favorable time as the earth is not receiving the light of the sun.
So this reduction of solar energy means that there's a decrease in life giving prana to the earth.
And this is a reason why it's recommended to never be outside during a solar eclipse.
So due to this darkness, consciousness is said to be obscured and in general it can create an increase in tension and it can amplify destructive tendencies.
So during this time, while being aware and cautious that this tension, we want to remedy it by turning ourselves to our spiritual practice and focusing on peace in our immediate surrounding as well as our country and the entire world. At this point, solar eclipses are typically said to affect leaders, presidents and, you know, historically kings.
This is what's been documented through historical events.
So this particular solar eclipse is occurring in Virgo. Keep in mind I am a Vedic sidereal astrologer. However, in Western, this is also going to be in Virgo.
So in Vedic astrology, we look deeper to see where the positioning is actually in what star constellation or Nakshatra.
And this is connected to Ultra Fulghini Nakshatra.
And so coming back to new moons, they are associated with new beginnings. And eclipses magnify this energy.
So this is acting like a cosmic accelerator. And this is where openings in timelines collapse and the unseen is revealed. So something in your life may suddenly shift, something might be revealed or end, or clearing space for what must now begin like a new beginning.
And so going deeper into the Virgo energy, because we've just begun Vir season, which means that our sun is in the constellation of Virgo.
So Virgo in a Vedic astrology is the archetype of purity, of refinement, of discernment. It rules health, healing service, Ayurveda, and also the meticulous details of our daily life.
So Virgo energy really is pulling us back to what is essential. It really strips away any excess so we can live in alignment with, with our natural rhythms. And so the eclipse in Virgo, as well as this being Virgo season, your routines and rituals could be highlighted. Healing in the body, the mind, the nervous system, refining how we serve others and ourselves.
It also relates to the sacredness of order, precision, integration. But ultimately Virgo's medicine is humility. It's the ability to return again and again to the basics, the practices that are anchoring us into being whole.
And so that is the Virgo energy. And then going deeper into Ultra Falghini Nakshatra, this is associated with contracts, commitments, soul agreements and sacred unions.
The symbol of this Nakshatra is a bed or two back legs of a cot.
And this represents or symbolizes rest after work, stability and support.
So this Nakshatra is around responsibilities and bonds that we take on and the work that is required to uphold dharma in relationships, projects and communities.
So this Nakshatra carries themes of long term partnerships, promises, vows, sacred duty within commitments, the balance between giving and receiving, and also stability through righteous action.
So when eclipsed, Ultra Falghini can reveal where our agreements, personal or professional, are misaligned with truth and where we need to renegotiate, release or recommit from that place of clarity.
Now again, I I want to reiterate that we, if we can, avoid making decisions in the eclipse period, we want to make sure that we have clarity and that our consciousness isn't obscured. So keep that in mind.
So what this could look like or how this might present itself in people's lives. Again, depending on where this is transiting for you.
And without going too technical, your birth natal chart consists of 12 houses, and each of those houses represents a different area of your life.
So wherever Virgo is for you, whatever house it is, this is where it will likely be reflecting.
So for some, this could look like in relationship.
They might feel the weight of their commitments more intensely. They might realize that they've been carrying an agreement that no longer honors their truth.
It might look like proposals, breakups, redefining the terms of a relationship can come into this.
And, yeah, it might be creating structures that support love as well.
It could look like in work and business partnerships, maybe contracts coming up for renewal or renegotiation or disillusion.
Or it could be.
It might be revealed that there is an imbalance in a collaboration, that the eclipse may bring that to the surface. There might be new agreements that are formed, new alliances, maybe those that are more in integrity or more of that mutual support could also look like soul agreements or connected to dharma. So you might feel called to honor a new inner vow, to step into a path you promised yourself a long time ago.
It might look like old karmic ties being revealed, released, rewoven, allowing you to create from more of a sovereign space.
And it could also look like a mentor, a guide or supporter entering your life, or you step into that role of someone else.
And so when eclipsed, Ultra Falghini is asking, what agreements are you keeping out of duty rather than devotion? And where can you shift into alignment so your commitments feel like fuel and not chains?
I also want to mention that this particular eclipse is happening at the same time as equinox, so the official change of season.
So when an eclipse aligns with the equinox, its symbolism intensifies.
So in the northern hemisphere, we have the autumn equinox. And so this is about the descent. This is where the light wanes, the harvests are gathered, and nature is preparing itself for stillness.
Symbolically, this is a time of reckoning.
What has been planted and tended to must now be integrated. So with an eclipse here, the invitation is to shed outdated agreements, obligations, or identities that no longer align with your dharma so that you can move into the darker half of the year unburdened. So it is this sense of purification, a release, a call to clarity.
Whereas subtly, in the southern hemisphere, the spring equinox, it's about the ascent. So the light is returning. So this is where, you know, the seeds are stirring, the new cycles of growth begins. And so the eclipse here, it magnifies the call to commit to new visions, new bonds, new pathways that truly align.
So this is where it's a fertile moment to plan with precision, to choose wisely which partnerships, which projects or rituals you want to devote your life force to. And I also just wanted to end with. Because you know that I love my practical ways with working with energy.
So what other practical ways to work with this solar eclipse energy? So it is about rest and reflection.
So allowing yourself space around this eclipse, not rushing to take on new projects or sign contracts, Let what is being revealed first come into focus. That is so important.
I always say this to my clients.
It's also an opportunity and a practical way of using this time to refine your routine. So audit your habits. What is draining you? What simple practices could bring more clarity, more vitality and alignment.
And I will share. For me, it's become glaringly obvious that I need to get back into my meditation routine.
This is also an opportunity to release and recommit. So noticing where your energy is tied up to outdated agreements, this is a powerful time to consciously let go and choosing commitments that are truly nourishing your future.
And through this eclipse window period, hopefully what you care about or what you want has.
Yeah. Been revealed to you or there. There is greater clarity there.
This is also an opportunity to simplify your consumption.
So Virgo loves purity.
So cleansing your diet, your space.
I been speaking a lot about cleaning and feng shui. And, you know, that extends into your digital world as well, creating order and clarity.
It's one of the best things you can do at this time.
Also spiritual practice, of course. So mantra meditation, like I mentioned, prayer are really potent during eclipses.
So you're offering your confusion to, you know, prayer and then.
Yeah. So coming back to. If we zoom out of eclipses and this, this time period, the. The eclipse is not simply about change for change sake.
It's. It's bringing us back into alignment. And I know I mentioned this at the start, but alignment isn't about forcing. It's about remembering what is already true. And so this is what the eclipse period is so good at.
You know, things that we haven't been paying attention to.
There's no longer that opportunity not to pay attention to it.
So with this Being in Virgo and Ultra Falghini. It's reminding us that the true path. Path is lived through the devotion, the devotion of our daily lives, through the agreements we honor and the commitments we make to ourselves and others.
So this is a very powerful time.
That is an opportunity to rewrite your story.
And so, with final words, I want to say trust what is falling away and lean into what is being revealed.
I was listening to something today that it was like, lean into the discomfort.
Lean into the scary thing.
And so this is your chance to step into greater clarity, stability, and. And hopefully Dharma.
