[00:00:26] Speaker B: Welcome to episode 25, Saturn's shift and the Vedic New Year. New beginnings and a global transformation. I have been inspired to do this podcast because a lot of people I've been speaking to are feeling like the ground beneath them is shifting. And if you're feeling that way, you're not imagining it. We've had a lot of cosmic energy move into the constellation of Pisces that I spoke about in episode 24. But I wanted to go even deeper into Saturn, moving into Pisces. So this officially happened on 29th March 2025. And this is very significant because Saturn is a slow moving planet. It moves zodiac signs every two and a half years. So when it does move into a different zodiac sign, it is a change not only personally, but on a global level, on a collective level. So I wanted to discuss, I've been looking a lot at trends and what I see shifting and changing and I've already started to see this. And so I wanted to deep dive into that in this episode and what to expect, how this change of Saturn is going to, yeah, create change.
And I also want to speak about the Vedic New Year. And if you've been following me for a while, you'll know that the Vedic New Year is when the sun moves into the constellation of Aries. And obviously I'm talking about the sidereal chart here, so relating it directly back to the astronomy. And so when this happens, this is officially the new year from a Vedic astrology perspective, from an astronomical perspective. And so if you have felt like the Gregorian calendar hasn't been in align with you, then this is probably why you're in sync with the Vedic calendar.
And so this just opens up a new opportunity to reset. And with these cosmic changes that we've had, that is exactly what it is gearing us up for, especially with the congregation of planets that we've had in Pisces. With this Saturn change into Pisces and the sun moving into Aries, it is a huge cosmic change.
And so I really want to talk about that. So that is what I want to do for this episode. So first of all, if you have been feeling this uncertainty, emotional upheaval, or having sudden realizations this is part of this Pisces energy. And I want to talk about, you know, what Pisces energy is, what sudden energy is, because they are so different. They are so different, the energies. And this is why it has really interested me to see how this is going to play out.
So Saturn is the planet that demands structure. Obviously, when I think about Saturn, I think about its rings around it. So that structure is there, if you put that in your mind.
And this transit can feel like a internal and an external reality check. Whereas Pisces energy is this intangible and dreamy kind of energy. So it'll be interesting as we go into, just so you can understand what the kind of shifts are.
So Pisces is all to do with spirituality, creativity. And so I really see major shifts in these areas, also shifts in finance and even how we perceive time and reality itself. And so when we are coming into this period, you know, it's asking, what are you willing to take responsibility for?
Where have you been avoiding hard truths?
Where have we mistaken escapism for spirituality?
And what happens when the old structures dissolve and then we're forced to navigate the unknown? So Saturn is to do with time, is to do with karma as discipline. And Pisces is the infinite, the dreamer, the mystic. So these two energies coming together. And so Saturn is the teacher, but it's the teacher that teaches through experience, through endurance and through mastery. And we can only master something through time. So these are all the qualities of Saturn and Pisces is that contrast, it's the fluidity, it's that spirituality, it's that imagination.
And so this transit is where reality meets the dream. These are the two energies.
And so going deeper into this energy and what I see is going to be changing is Pisces rules spirituality. It's mysticism, it's transcendence, it's the ruler of the 12th House.
And Saturn is that karma, responsibility, discipline. And so I see that this is the next two and a half years. There is this crucial moment for the spiritual industry. And those that are operating in integrity are going to rise. And those that have been profiting or they're superficial are really going to struggle. So I see that this is going to be a huge change in spirituality. And what we've been seeing as these quick fixes, I feel this manifestation culture without anything deeper with that self work is really going to collapse. And so this is where Saturn really wants something with discipline. And it's really going to challenge this. And so any of those spiritual teachings that aren't you know, generic or aren't backed up, people will be craving deep wisdom and it's going to be needed to be rooted in lineage practice, real transformation. So I really see anything that has been commercialized in terms of spirituality is going to be called out and you know, even teachers and these frameworks are really going to be replaced with that genuine mentorship, deep study, structured learning. And so I really see, and I said this before at my, on my podcast about this calendar year and you know, stepping into this Vedic year that these traditional spiritual sciences are going to rise. So Vedic astrology, Ayurveda, classical yogic traditions, this indigenous wisdom is going to gain prominence and people are seeking that ancient time tested truth rather than these modern reinterpretations.
And there's going to, people are going to crave that depth.
And so people being drawn to practitioners who are embodying the wisdom rather than just seeing that they can mark it really well. And so there's also going to be this return to daily practice. Saturn in Pisces demands consistency.
And so I really see that there's going to be this shift from this kind of like instant enlightenment that I've been seeing culture to understanding that true transformation. It takes years of that dedicated effort.
And so I see this as being a big change. So teachers with deep knowledge, years of experience, these are going to be the beacons and practices that are rooted in, and spiritual businesses that emphasize study, embodiment and just ethical are really going to be in the, in the spotlight and what people are attracted to.
I also see that because Pisces, it rules fantasy, addiction, escapism.
And whereas Saturn is more reality, those that are used to destruction, addiction, illusion, that have been avoiding that inner work, this is where it's really going to come to the surface. And so even things I see, because Pisces is like I said, about the illusion. So addiction, drugs and things like that. So I see that this bypassing or this illusion escapism, that glamorization of plant medicine, psychedelics, ceremonial drugs, without that proper discipline or guidance is really going to come under scrutiny. And those that have used those tools for escape rather than transformation information potentially having those, those lessons that they need coming up.
And when we talk about escapism, talking about social media and this numbing effect of that constant scrolling and consumption and comparison, I think this is going to become more evident and more people are going to seek out this detox from that digital escapism. So you know, and this is, you know, Pisces is the fish swimming up and One swimming down, one swimming up to moksha, liberation and the other one swimming down to Maya. So you know, the, the matrix, the material world. And so we can see how on that spectrum that there's, that, those two, those two ways you can go.
But I see that emotional avoidance and that tendency to distract, to numb through, you know, whether it's entertainment, shopping, you know, even, you know, being a workaholic, all of these things that we use to distract, it's all going to, you know, force us to rethink about what we're doing. And it's going to come up to the surface and Saturn isn't going to let us avoid it anymore.
And so I see that this shift in more somatic healing, more nervous system support, more regulated emotions rather than like numbing them. I see this as a collective change. I return to nature. So grounding through natural environments, that ritual, that simplicity, I feel that that is going to increase.
I also think that when it comes to mental health, it's going to require more of that structured healing from Saturn. So more of that discipline, more of that structured self inquiry, more of those practices.
And so this is an opportunity for, you know, self regulation, discipline, embodiment and perhaps even, you know, therapists, nervous system healers. This is going to be something also I see rising.
I also from these placements see this rise in creativity and intuition. Saturn in Pisces is going to ask the artists, the mystics, the visionaries to create more tangible systems around their gifts. And this transit is of mastery and inspiration. And so the creators and intuitives, those entrepreneurs that realize that maybe their raw talent and inspiration is not enough. They need that structure, they need that discipline, that need that consistency to, you know, that's going to determine their success.
And so those that have been having those sporadic creative bursts, they're going to find that they need more of that structure, that system to their art and their writing and their healing work. So I really see that this a new form of mastery coming that we haven't experienced before. I also see our return to long form content and more depth in storytelling. I think, you know, and we're going to touch on AI but you know, the content becoming the same. And so I think that there is going to be more of a rise on, you know, books on immersive experience, high quality work, more of that over this surface level, social media content.
And so yeah, even more trainings, more structured programs is going to come into play here. And even spiritual entrepreneurs, they're going to need those systems again with Saturn and So developing strategic planning, sustainable practices rather than that just that momentary inspiration that we've been seeing or I have been seeing a lot of. And so I think there's going to be a shift here with creatives, with visionaries, how they translate their gifts into more structured offerings and how we can start to go back to producing more deeper, meaningful work.
I also see with this transit that because Saturn governs time and patience and discipline and Pisces is flow and surrender and divine timing, this transit is going to teach us to stop forcing things to happen before they're ready and also holding ourselves accountable for our long term commitment as well.
And this comes back to this Pisces energy really being that divine feminine force. And so we're going to start realizing that forcing those timelines, rushing success and pushing against that natural flow is going to lead to burnout rather than achievement. And this is a big shift. And so I see a shift towards more seasonal, more cyclical, more divine timing.
And that's going to not only on a personal level, but I see this as on a business level and trusting the natural cycles rather than that constant productivity like finally realizing that that isn't, that isn't working and our obsession with these instant results and that rapid success declining under this transit. And it's going to be more about long term mastery. I see that being one of the most valuable skills like a wisdom and mastery really being a key metric of success.
And so this is that call to surrender. So learning where we need to take action, where to surrender and knowing when to step forward, when to wait and you know, wait for that divine alignment and trust in the timing and yeah, not taking that action with force. So I see that that long term thinking, cyclical planning and balancing between action and surrender also coming up with this transit when it comes to the industry shifts. I think this is really interesting to look at. I see with this, industries that have been built on illusion starting to crumble, evolve, potentially even collapse. And so when we look at the 12th house, it is about healing, deep healing. It's also about the subconscious mind, obviously spirituality. I see that in the industry there's a rise in more of the integrative healing. And so, you know, maybe anyone that's doing unethical practices, there's going to be that regulatory shift with Saturn. I see here. I see, and I said this before the rise of structured alternative medicine such as Ayurveda, herbalism, energy healing and I see that gaining credibility. There might also be some scientific backing that comes structured education, potentially these modalities becoming easier to learn.
Also say that mental health will move towards more of long term therapy over more quick fixes and potentially even the expansion of psychedelics and plant medicine, but with more regulation, more training, more ethical use. Under Saturn, being in Pisces, I also see with the illusionary collapse of the media and this storytelling that I was touching on, I really think that we're going to see more exposure of media manipulation, misinformation, AI generated content and more of that deceptive reporting is going to come under scrutiny, be a huge pushback. I see that that shift towards depth over quality, that authenticity, wisdom, storytelling with meaning also rising. Streaming on platforms with subscriptions are, you know, are going to come under scrutiny. So maybe they're going to provide higher value, more niche content over more of this mass production. Everyone getting tired of, of how it currently is.
And again coming back to that, the rise of that long form content and more of that mastery storytelling. So that that depth is something that the collective is really want to have. Now when it comes to fashion and beauty, which I love looking at, I really think that because Pisces rules fantasy and escapism and illusion and Saturn is sustainability and longevity and craftsmanship, I really see the collapse of fast fashion. I see this as a, you know, potentially a big thing and so cheap mass produced clothing will become less desirable. People wanting to invest in quality over quantity, more of this artisan craftsmanship so that bespoke slow fashion. So think about your Hermes business model. And you know, then we've got the Pisces element which is those soft ethereal aesthetics. So those sheer fabrics, celestial motives, like more of those fluid silhouettes will dominate.
And also spiritual beauty and ritual based skin care I see is really going to thrive. So skin care products that have that, that wisdom and those energetic elements to them, I see them, yeah, rising with this and I, I've already touched on this. But I think that you know, spiritual bypassing is going to be exposed. So this quick fix manifestation, anything like that, that return to ancient wisdom is, yeah, is also going to be at the, at the forefront. So those are the things that I have been thinking about. So I'd love to know your thoughts on that. So this is what I see from the collective shift and the energy and how potentially influence the, the global collective.
And if you're wanting more of a personal understanding of how this is going to influence you, you need to pull up your Vedic chart and look at what House Pisces is for you and what House Pisces is. So it'll be, you know, 1:1 through to 12. Then you can understand what area of life it will be influe.
So if you need any help with that, please message me, please let me know.
And then I wanted to shift and speak about the Vedic New Year. And this is not just a date, it is an energy shift. And this is happening on the 14th of April, 2025. And this really begins when our sun enters the constellation of Aries. And this is our astrological reset. And this is the beginning of a new cycle. It's a time of renewal, action, alignment. And again, we're aligning to the cosmic rhythms. Aries is ruled by Mars, and it brings this fire, it brings momentum, decisiveness. And so it really makes this a powerful time to set intentions and step into new beginnings with confidence. So if you have felt like you haven't had any clarity and it has been an emotional time for you, this shift is not just about that external action. It's also about reclaiming your personal power. It's about closing karmic cycles. It's aligning with your Dharma or your, your true path. And Saturn and Pisces is, you know, it's already been stripping, you know, starting to strip away those illusions. And Aries really is going to give us that clarity. And especially if that eclipse season, you know, remove things from your life, you know, strip, like I said, stripping away those illusions. This is going to give you clarity and what remains and, and what is important to you. And so the sun shifting into Aries is really asking you to embody all that you have learned, all that you've learned from last year, and to lead, to take bold action, be in alignment with your soul's truth. And so the sun is exalted in Aries. And when I say exalted, it means that it's fully expressing itself. I would say so this is its strongest placement. And you know, it's expressing its power, its boldness, its leadership, and it's, and its force. And so Aries, like I mentioned, is ruled by Mars, the warrior. And this is what brings the fire, that decisiveness and that momentum. So you might feel more vitality.
And like I said, if you've been unclear, you might suddenly gain traction. You might feel a push to act on your goals. You might have start to feel the courage to move forward so that procrastination might dissolve and you now feel that sense of urgency and that's where you get that decisiveness. So, you know, making these bold choices and staying in that indecision is going to feel suffocating. So it's not going to give you that option, it's going to make you want to move.
And this is also a call with Aries shifting, sorry, the, the sun shifting in Aries, a call to this self leadership. So no longer waiting for this external validation. This is taking owners of your path. And so this shift is really, yeah, integrating what you have learned and stepping into a new cycle, a new phase. And so taking this time to think about what has dissolved over the last year. And obviously if you have your Vedic chart and you can see where you know the transits have been for you and you can get a deeper insight and understanding. But think about the things, people, mindsets that have been stripped away and what do you now want to make you feel lighter? And you know, are you ready to act with clarity? And this is that initiation energy of Aries. And it's going to ask you, you know, what fears, what doubts or old identities are you leaving behind.
And this is where Aries is really wanting you to step forward with your truth. So this is your opportunity to have that reflection, understand the lessons you've learned and what you've embodied and acknowledge it. This is really important.
And then you know, embracing this new cycle. And so this is this intention, intentional action.
And so setting some clear, bold intentions for the Vedic New year ahead. So potentially writing down your top three priorities and asking yourself what truly is essential?
Where will I direct my fire?
And making a commitment to bold action. So what have you been postponing? And now is that time to start. And again with that stepping into your self leadership, deciding what you are stepping into and then owning it. And this is a time to align your actions with your soul work. So this is about your dharma, your purpose and, and as I mentioned, with this Saturn shifting into Pisces, your purpose is going to require structure. So if you have a vision, you need to create the strategy and set those timelines and think about the milestones and then ground those ideas into form. This is going to be so important with the cosmic climate and this is going to move that energy from dreaming to doing so. Whether you're launching a project, you're shifting careers, you're deepening your spiritual practice, this energy wants concrete steps. So Aries is going to thrive on that tangible process. So really anchoring that wisdom that you have into action. And you know, if you have been learning or studying or even reading a book, it's really important and this is the time to apply it. So not just absorbing knowledge, we really need to embody, integrate it into our life.
And the last thing I want to say about this energy and how to work with it is thinking about embodying more of that warrior mindset. So cutting out your distractions. I spoke about this in episode 24 on how important it is going to be to focus.
And Aries is about this direct focus energy. So simplify and move with confidence even if you don't have all the answers, act as if you do. Aries rewards decisiveness and really start to challenge your limiting beliefs and ask yourself where am I hesitating? What outdated fears still are holding me back? And Aries will ask you to move through that resistance.
And so this is what I want to say to you. I want it to be a really expansive year ahead and I want you to bring your soul work into reality. So please let me know if this episode resonated with you, what your biggest aha's or takeaways were, and if you have been enjoying the content on this podcast, can I please ask you to leave a rating and a review?
